O medicamento injet\u00e1vel de uso semanal j\u00e1 \u00e9 conhecido pelos brasileiros, mas at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o, era usado apenas para o controle do diabetes. Segundo um estudo realizado no mundo inteiro com mais de quatro mil e quinhentas pessoas, os pacientes que utilizaram o medicamento conseguiram uma perda corporal m\u00e9dia de 17%. Al\u00e9m disso, um em cada tr\u00eas pacientes perdeu 20% do seu peso corporal. Os participantes registraram ainda redu\u00e7\u00e3o da circunfer\u00eancia abdominal e da press\u00e3o arterial.<\/p>\n<p>No Brasil, n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 necess\u00e1rio apresentar receita para a compra do medicamento, mas como em todo tratamento, h\u00e1 riscos de efeitos colaterais. Por isso, a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 que de a inje\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o seja aplicada sem antes uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n<p>Dados da Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial de obesidade mostram que atualmente existem 764 milh\u00f5es de pessoas vivendo com obesidade no mundo.
